About this event
Join us during the joyful Spring Bank Holiday weekend with Indian music, dance and creative connections with nature. Curated by Sanju Sahai and featuring Tabla, Sarod, Vocal, Tar Shehnai.
Morning Ragas are said to be perhaps the most evocative of the time. Both soothing and comforting, morning Ragas can bestow a “carefree” influence upon the listener. Early morning performances exploring the beautiful early morning ragas are not very often heard in the UK and a huge plethora of morning ragas remain relatively unheard with most concerts taking place in the evenings. The dawn is the time when man connects with the Divine. These early morning moments have been cherished by musicians and spiritual practitioners for time immemorial. Join us for a morning of devotion, meditation, relaxation and calm set in these beautiful surroundings and ease yourself into the slow rising of the day! With Sanju Sahai on Tabla, Priti Kaur and Kirpal Singh Panesar on Esraj.
